: Six Month Smiles are braces for adults, but they are designed to be discrete. The clear brackets are cleverly blended into your smile and the tooth-colored wires are difficult to notice. This is a great option for adults that don’t want to advertise their choice to straighten their teeth every time they smile. The discrete design is a desirable attribute that many adults prefer.
: If you are a candidate for Six Month Smiles. Dr. Scott will create a personalized treatment plan and take impressions of your teeth for the Six Month Smiles® lab to use in designing your braces. In about two weeks, once the braces have been crafted, he will attach the brackets to the front surface of your teeth with a gentle, yet durable adhesive, connect the brackets with tooth-colored arch wires, and use clear ligature elastics to hold the wires in place. Once a month, you will visit Dr. Scott so he can make any necessary adjustments and confirm your teeth are responding well to treatment. This orthodontic treatment uses low force techniques to gently shift teeth into proper position. Because the treatment focuses primarily on the aesthetics of your teeth rather than shifting your bite to realign teeth, treatment is quicker and more comfortable than traditional braces.
: Dr. Scott will perform an evaluation of your teeth, gums, and jawbone to determine if Six Month Smiles® is right for you. To qualify for this orthodontic treatment, it is recommended that patients be at least 15 years old with fully developed primary teeth. The best candidates for this procedure include patients with good oral health who are struggling with minor dental misalignment, such as slightly gapped, overcrowded, or crooked teeth. Patients with more significant dental misalignment and complex bite issues would benefit more from traditional metal braces or Invisalign®.
: Dr. Scott also has completed Advanced Training of all Levels in Six Month Smiles Orthodontics. He is the only mentor in Georgia and teaches other dentists internationally how to implement this system. He also has completed extensive training in areas of cosmetic dentistry and surgery in conjunction with the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC) through the Heartland Dental Care Doctor Mastery Program.

Angela graduated as a CDA from The Medix College in 2004 with a 4.0. She did her internship in orthodontics and have been in that specialty ever since. Having over 15 years of experience in the field she is an expert in orthodontics and Invisalign.

I absolutely loved every aspect of my appointment, from the receptionist to the dental assistants and doctor. Very knowledgeable. And everyone went out tog there way to make sure, I was comfortable and knew every aspect of what was happening. I went in as a new patient and was able to get an appointment very quickly. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. I went in with some questions about issues and products I should be using and they were very helpful with providing recommendations. The best thing for me is their business hours. I work Monday thru Friday and it can be difficult to get appointments before or after work. The office opens early enough that I can have everything done with time to spare! I would definitely recommend them.
