Dr. Vuong Nguyen
Born and raised in rural Vietnam, Dr. Vuong Nguyen immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. His family’s journey instilled in him a strong sense of resilience, compassion, and a strong work ethic. His interest in dentistry began with his own orthodontic experience—an experience that not only improved his smile but also boosted his confidence. This transformation inspired his commitment to helping others achieve excellent oral health and renewed self-esteem.
Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Georgia, followed by a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Before entering dental school, he worked as a product development chemist for Mohawk Inc., sharpening skills in precision, analytical thinking, and problem-solving—qualities that continue to guide his clinical practice.
He later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Nguyen currently practices at Pure Dental Health in Buckhead, Atlanta, where he is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. He incorporates advanced technologies such as CEREC same-day crowns, TRIOS digital scanning, implant restorations, and a full range of cosmetic services to offer efficient and comprehensive treatments. Committed to serving his community, he continues to volunteer his time and strives to ensure every patient feels valued, comfortable, and confident in their care.
