Pure Dental Health is a thriving and upbeat practice located in the heart of Atlanta in the Buckhead/Midtown area. With the expansion of multiple new offices, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven professional to obtain the role of Treatment Coordinator. This is an amazing experience for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for continued growth in the dental field. Since this role serves as a liaison between patient and doctor, and often involves discussing finances and selling treatment, our ideal candidate would be dependable, possess excellent communication skills, is highly tactful, and adept at providing a pleasant experience for all of our clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating treatment plans for patients based on their desires and dental needs
- Discussing financial information and options with patients
- Coordinating with other clinical and administrative staff to maintain patient flow in the office
- Manage appointment schedules for all doctors and hygienists
- Collect payment, verify balances, and set up payment plans
- Assist the call center and front desk with inbound and outbound calls
- Tracking case acceptance for doctors
- Maintaining a working database of in progress treatment and following up with patients
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in dentistry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner
- Experience presenting treatment plans to patients is preferred
- Adaptable to changing demands and desires of our patients
- Strong retention of a variety of codes, procedures, and costs
- Experienced multitasker
- Team player who operates well in a high intensity environment
- Ability to read AR accounts
- Understanding of dental insurance, fee schedules, and coverages
- Sales experience is helpful
